Ronald Casertano and Michael Pinto surrounded by Muscat Canelli at the Lanza Vineyards. New for 2015!

We will be offering Muscat Canelli for 2015!

With known plantings as far back as the 12th century, this fragrant, luscious tasting varietal is best known as the foundation of Asti wines. It is often used to craft sweet or semi-sweet dessert wines. Muscat Canelli is also used to craft the semi-sparkling Frizzante. Not to be confused with the larger grape, Muscat Alexandria, this varietal has small berries in tight clusters and has and exceptional aroma. If you want to make a nice Rose style wine, try blending with Grenache. Order early, supplies are lilmited. The Lanza's will also be providing us with the opportunity to purchase in bulk juice as 55 gallon drums or 300 gallon totes.
